Well, considering it’s been my experience that federal paychecks go out on the 15th and 30th, and a lot of bills like mortgage payments come due the first of the month…I’d say that if the shutdown looked like it might stretch past the 30th, federal workers would decide enough was enough.

as an informed estimate i like it - as of now tho there doesn’t seem to be anything motivating the baggers to do anything except try to shift the blame and/or deride the shutdown as a ‘slimdown’
