I was reading LGF from the time of the Rather throbbing memo, and actually passed up several open registrations because I was always so far behind the threads that it was pointless to try to comment. My comments may still be pointless, but at least I can now make pointless comments in real time.

I felt the same way about pointless or redundant comments, then I eventually realized that if you are far enough into the thread, you can make the same pointless comment somebody else made earlier but no one would ever know!
