Ouch. Yeah, I got lucky that an extinguisher was nearby. I plan on putting one in the car going forward. I’ll need a new distro, new fuel filter and lines, and it did get some of the wiring harness for the electronic ignition, so I need a new connector and to do some splicing, which is old hat for a computer nerd like me. It’s just a matter of time and money to get her put back together. Unfortunately, the fire did blister the paint on the hood, but it needed refinishing anyway due to an incident by a previous owner.
