We have become an un-serious people and I think the TV has a lot to do with that. I don’t want to sound condescending or arrogant…hell, I watch TV too, but I keep a skeptical eye out and try to stay aware of when I’m being manipulated.
What is truly damaging is the manipulation in the news. It’s one thing to get lost in American Idol (which I do not watch) and totally another to take your news from the Daily Show or the Colbert Report or the almost indiscernibly more credible mainstream outlets.

How about if you learn and gather news from the “credible” news outlets, AND books, AND various internet sites such as LGF, AND…
