Someone you dislike (for reasons unstated) versus a fascist. Sounds like a magic balance fairy argument to me. They are not the same, and I do not have to like a candidate to vote for a competent candidate.
If you donโt like fascist as the descriptor for Donald Trump, how about narcissist? Incompetent? Arrogant? Clueless? Those are also good reasons to vote against him rather than invoke the magic balance fairy argument they are both the same.
They are not. To abdicate voting against evil is to tacitly endorse it.
