Well, that depends. We need to spend very differently— need to spend a ton of money combating AGW, and the military is already at the centerpiece of that. So less over-designed warplanes that won’t work in different temperature zones, and more design of alternative energy that can be used by the military, development of truly green biofuel, etc.

Cut the weapons programs that the Pentagon itself says they don’t want, and repurpose that money to revamp the military to not rely on fossil fuels.
