Found out today that my aunt was on the cover of the Military Advanced Education magazine (terribly specific, I know) last year about her work over in Afghanistan.

I read through the interview and it was interesting. There are a lot of resources for supporting the troops when it comes to trying to facilitate higher education in the field and that’s really encouraging to see.

Univ of Maryland and Troy State University are worldwide systems under the Army Continuing Education System (ACES). They contract to provide undergrad and graduate curricula . Son2 got a couple years of credits, while a dependent, from the UoM in Aviano, IT.
