There is some nonsense on YouTube about a 96 mile Trump parade in the Arizona desert. IIRC the video shows maybe a hundred vehicles, but I’m not sure what the “96 miles” part refers to. Are they going to drive 96 miles? All the video shows is a lot of trucks hanging around a dirt road intersection and one shot of a bunch of vehicles driving through. It’s certainly not miles long. 96 miles seems oddly specific for random driving around.

When I went to vote last week, we dropped off the ballots at the county election office, more out of an overabundance of caution than anything else. On the way there, there was a Trump rally, if you can call it that, just off the exit ramp. Literally a dirt patch, next to an under construction Dave & Buster’s in an outlet shopping center parking lot. About 100 yds by 50 yds with a bunch of MAGAts with their pickup trucks and giant ass flags milling about.

The kicker was across the road was a lone guy sitting on the grass with a “White supremacy is wrong” sign, being confronted a cop and a guy in a suit I took to be a detective of some sort. I’ve been wondering for over a week if I should have pulled over and got involved somehow. I really worried about that guy’s safety.

I can only imagine how bad it is in Houston, or Texas, or Arizona, or North Carolina, where it appears the cops are pretty much acting as Trump’s shock troops at this point.
