It’s civil servants who know how things get done and make sure things get things done. It’s the people that Trump wants to be able to fire and hire at will.

In MN at least, these jobs are still union. MAPE for professionals and AFSCME for the more blue collar jobs. My work group is mostly MAPE but I’m in AFSCME. Cops and state prison guards have their own separate unions.
