My company: Great, we have this test. You are required to take it every day, recording to us that you took it. But don’t tell us the results unless you test 6 days in a row that you are positive. But you’re not required to test on the weekends.

The test doesn’t turn positive until the virus is in the infectious level, your first positive is the day you can infect others. Waiting 6 days would be a mistake.
