Walter, a lot of magicians buy specially marked cards— are you sure that that’s not what you were shown, and that’s not what you bought?

That’s literally an insult. My knowledge of the art of stage magic far surpasses a casual interest in magic tricks on the back of a cereal box. I am totally aware of factory marked cards and hand marked cards, and the various methods involved in marking them.

I know what I have been told, I know the professionals that have discussed this with me, and whether this is actually true or not, you can pontificate all you want, your proof is nonexistent.
