I’m from GA so I’m biased, but this is South Carolina. Home of Ft. Sumter. Maybe that’ll jog your memory to what kind of extreme-side politics the state is known for.

And as Charles pointed out in another thread yesterday - this State chock full of creationist politicians (on both sides of the aisle, by the way).

I would caution using this State as THE example of where the Party is heading.
