I prefer to keep a foreign mortal enemy like the Taliban separate from domestic political and religious foes with whom I may yet strongly disagree. Lumping them together is unnecessarily provocative and counterproductive.

In other words, it’s been demonstrated to you that the American Taliban deserves to be compared to the Taliban, so now you got nothin’.
