You sound like a wise person. My family makes fun of me because I’m “frugal” (cheap bitch really). I learned my lesson years ago about spending what you can’t afford. I guess because my father lost his business when I was 16 and we lost everything. It never left me. Meanwhile, if God forbid my hubby and I would find ourselves in crisis today, I think we could manage it.
