My parents warned me about driving safely and not speeding and my car would be my casket if I didn’t listen.

Who the fuck wants to be buried in a 63 Corvair? I knew speeding wouldn’t cause my sudden demise so it forced me to look our for the other assholes on the road.

I never had problems with accidents when driving fast. It was when I am driving slow and keeping in one lane that I had my one wreck in over 20 years.
Stay alert, don’t use the telephone, think about where all the other cars are and how fast they are going, the weather, the condition of the car and tires, the car’s abilities and such and you won’t have problems with wrecks.

Thankfully Texas law is that the speed limit is usually whatever is “safe and prudent” and not the posted speed limit which the statutes say is only a guideline. Posted speeds at school zones and roadwork areas are the actual legal limits in Texas.
