Why? Don’t give me this freedom of speech crap. Hate speech is not protected.

In the US, hate speech is legally protected unless it amounts to an immediate incitement to violence etc.

In Germany, an equivalent public demonstration by Nazis or neo-Nazis would be illegal.

I can’t really think of a good reason why US law is better than German law with respect to such demonstrations.
