Actually, the uncertainty around Brexit may have deep-sixed any chance of Thomas Cook being able to put together a rescue package. (gives austin_blue a handful of /////)

There were many factors that led to the Thomas Cook bankruptcy - a K2-sized mountain of debt being one of them - but Brexit-related uncertainty was the icing on the cake.

And here we are.
