Because solid ethics and morals, and those individuals from from the stink of criminality are not welcome in the Adminstration?

This Administration continues to proffer people ill-qualified to handle these kinds of positions, whether it is because of their odious positions on the issue, criminal behaviors (up to and including Aldolfo Carrion, Tim Geithner, and all the other tax cheats), and ethical flaps.

All of this is a symptom of the real problem - that Obama remains ill qualified to be President and his choices and judgment remains as it has always been - suspect.

After all, he’s got more than a thousand nominations to get through, and he’s barely provided a fraction of the names for the confirmation process. He’s hamstringing his own ability to govern because key policy positions remain open. This is particularly bad in Treasury - where Geithner is heading up a Department devoid of top policy people. He has no deputies to institute policy, let alone provide advice to the Secretary.

All that rests on Obama - and it is a massive failure that is only getting worse by the day.
