Seriously however, there are cases where good married women need contraception for health reasons. I won’t bore you with details, but speaking as a “sensitized” Rh negative, the odds of having another fetus make it to term were pretty limited. Without birth control I would presumably have had a bunch of miscarriages-or, no sex life. Neither would have been good.
Without birth control, I spend 3 days of every month on pretty serious painkillers, wrapped around a heating pad.
They can have it from my cold, dead hands.
