This is the age of the conspiracy theory, whether media-generated for purely commercial reasons, or politically motivated, or both. Conspiracy theories are the primary underpinning for all of the world’s remaining dictatorship; North Korea, Venezuela, Cuba, Iran, etc. as well as the driving force behind international terrorism. As such, they could well be the single most immoral and destructive force in the world today.
