OT: Anyone read the piece about Mitch Daniels in the Wkly Standard where he suggests maybe we need to call a truce on social issues until we get ourselves out of the budget hole we keep digging deeper? Weigel has a post up about how Huckabee is already using that as a fund raising tool.

I though he made sense, cool the social conservatism for now, and emphasize the fiscal.
