Well, I don’t blame you. You and I share that. I’m very live-and-let live until anyone of any stripe becomes live-and-you-betta-live-like-me-or-else. Then it becomes a different matter.

As for the a-holes in question, I can see calling them un-American, or anti-American. They hate what America has become, because they see dismantling the American dhimmitude of the past, as every supremacist does, as a zero-sum game. So now they think they are going to restore that.

To me, that goes back to your earlier comment about weakness which imo was on the $$$: they are moral/ethical bedwetters themselves, so they need the state to carry out their sociopathic fantasies on everyone else. Sux to be them when they finally get the memo. /Schadenfreude
