This new method of embedding the videos feels a lot less hacky than the old methods I was using - trying to extract the video info from a URL. All they had to do was change the structure of their URLs and the old scheme would break.

This new method is pulling the necessary info from the page’s own metadata, instead of making assumptions about the URL structure. It’s tres elegant.
