Where I grew up there are cemeteries filled with the graves of people who all died from the spanish flu, all within days of each other. Most of them were kids and the elderly. You can literally go grave to grave and count the days in between each.

My grandpa was 29 years old in the prime of his life. My dad was just a tiny fetus.
