It’s a dageurotype isn’t it? Finding one black slave owner does not change the fact that slavery was used to justify white supremacy for centuries. Johnson also was not the first slave owner despite what they say. The Spanish had slaves before the English even were in the Americas.

A slave ship unloaded in the English colonies by 1619. You can always tell photos from 1619 because they’re only found in the glove box of a tricked-out DeLorean.
