Hey it is a good thing, he is going ahead with his own version instead of trying to pass the House Bill. That means that even if he gets it through the Senate it then has to go to a joint committee to resolve the differences between the two Bills. Then both Chambers have to vote on the compromise version of the bill all over again, it will be well into the election year by then. I honestly have a hard time seeing them get the support they need for this then.

It might just be easier to have reid introduce a blank piece of paper. This way, any possible objection to the bill is immediately defused with “That’s not in the bill.” This would also work well with the co-branded “Blank Check” that is being used to fund the enterprise.
