What would it take to remove the 501(c)3 from mega churches and televangelists? Something like any church with revenues over $1M pay a tax on the amount over $1M.

$1M just being a arbitrary figure chosen from a top hat to keep from destrying small churches who really don’t have a pot to pee in.

Not doable. The religious organization exemption is pretty all or nothing.
