What does he have to fear?

Trump doesn’t fear a thing. His ego and vanity and incessant lies means he’ll go in thinking he’ll show everyone who’s boss and that he is smarter than everyone else in the room.

His lawyers, such as they are? That’s an entirely different story.

They’re all shitting bricks because they know the moment Trump opens his mouth he’s not only sticking his foot in it, but it’s going to be joined by his other foot, hand, and on and on and on. He will implicate himself in everything being alleged and then some.

He will open the floodgates on not only Trump’s personal criminality, but everyone else around him.

There’s a reason Trump needed a 2 man rule for every meeting with him. They all knew he lied about everything - and that was when he was dealing with his own lawyers.

It’s 1000 times worse when he’s facing highly competent federal prosecutors.
