Greetings! Wednesday, 8 April is Safe Place Selfie Day across the National Weather Service. The goal of this special day is for folks to find a safe space in your house/apartment in the event of severe weather. This space will be where you, your family (and pets) go during severe weather to stay safe. If you want, you can post your safe space on this post if you want to participate in Safe Place Selfie Day. Be thinking about your severe weather actions plan that you would use to keep you and your family (including your four legged members) safe. Ensure your family knows where this safe space is as well when severe weather threatens your area.
