I was trashed by LVQ because I collected my meager SS disability after forty years of paying into it, claiming I was arrogant to think I deserved it…and he posted it on a dead thread long after I’d logged off…one solution is to get more people working and paying into it, but mark my word…we are looking at 7 or 7.5 unemployment for a long time…and I bet BO will claim a victory for it

the problem with the economy now, is we’re seeing what happens when we no longer have an unsustainable housing bubble propping up the system. Housing is a huge engine of the economy, and you had all these bad loans that weren’t discovered to be bad, you have all this home equity, all these people, rich on paper, spending their house’s value. The economic conditions now have much to do with the housing bubble, and almost nothing to do with Obama. He didn’t create these conditions. He didn’t inherit a healthy economy. He inherited the results of two different presidents allowing banks and lenders to get away with murder.
