You’re talking to people who think the right thing to do would have been allowing all the banks to fail and all the automakers with the possible exception of Ford to go Chapter 7.

I lost all faith in capitalism when the federal government bailed out Chrysler in 1979…by all rights, that company should have been allowed to fail, but nobody was about to take the political and social responsibility for it.
