Groups such as Human Rights Watch have lost their way by imposing western, ‘universal’ standards on developing countries

That one is indeed worthy of a Fiskie. We should do a ‘Fiskie’ for the left, and a ‘Becker’ for the right. But that piece is truly rancid. The human rights movement comes from the left, but now its being called “imperialistic”. Truly a case of the left eating its own.
