Not really surprising. Using America’s music as an attack on America: Very much in line with the USSR’s tactics.

Not sure when this was done. They’re still recording, IIRC. I’ve also seen a video of them doing ‘Let My People Go’, which, if you’re an old Soviet Jewry hand, is really mind-blowingly weird.
