You’d think 2 people, with both more than likely earning 6 figures, would have something other than heavy debt to show for their efforts.

What’s more amazing to me is that the average net worth of House members that year was $6.5 million.

I won’t lie, my husband and I are doing pretty well (good salary, smart spending habits, and luck), but we’re not even close to that.

Honestly, if we were we’d be discussing retirement pretty seriously.
