The only objection I have is that mafia hitmen would not want to transport a high profile target any farther than they had to, alive or dead. They would know that every cop, reporter and bored bystander along the way would be looking for him. I still think Hoffa is planted within a small radius of the parking lot where he disappeared.

I told my dad about the story and we both agreed that it doesn’t really matter where or if Hoffa is ever found, as at this point so much time has passed that the revelation would end up being pub trivia within a month or less. Remember when the final identity of “Deep Throat” was revealed? The people who it mattered to were either dead or senile, while everybody else learned that the whole thing happened due to bitterness of being passed over for promotion and promptly lost interest.
