I read in the local paper that the industry wants to do away with the term “corn syrup” and substitute “corn sugar.” I guess that should do away with the controversy.

I look forward to seeing a documentary of the workers putting little sap taps on the cornstalks to collect the sap so they can later boil it down to get the sugar…
