OK, I think Obama is a prick and has no class for not attending this ball, and the lizard army is rightfully outraged. First president to not attend the Medal Of Honor Ball since the American Legion started putting it on 56 years ago, that is wrong on so many levels and certainly warrants discussion. But some of the posts I’ve read in this blog have invective that takes away from the constructve criticism we’re trying to achieve here. I’m glad that the lizards here have restrained themselves from assassination talk and the like, but some of the comments I’ve read delve pretty damn close to such rhetoric. Bloviating on the internet is fine and dandy and all, good way to let off some steam every once in a while. In the short time I’ve been a member of LGF, I’ve noticed a fairly civil discourse on conservative issues, it’s why I joined! But the personal insults to other bloggers and the nasty invective hurled at our new President (whether y’all like it or not, he is our President and Commander-In-Chief for the nex 4 years) is a tad much for me. But then again, maybe it’s because I’m such a huge pussy…
