Some really hold the entire “compassionate conservatism” meme against him. They hate him for medicare expansion and they hate him for attempted immigration reform, as well as some of his foreign aid programs.

Right, and it’s notable that none of those things had anything to do with his downfall. Nobody died from any of that stuff and it’s none of it is what tanked the economy.
