This woman’s story seems more geared to selling books rather than reality:

I Am a Surrendered Wife (goes to the BBC)

The gist of the article about her is that as a self-described feminist, she took control of all aspects of her husband’s life (thereby denying him agency).

Her solution was to give that up, give him control of the family finances, stop “nagging,” &c.

Yeah. Amazing how not letting your husband know what drives you up the wall instantly solves all family and relationship problems.
There is of course, something to the idea of not trying to run one’s husband’s life, a.k.a. basic respect, but the idea that women magically control the dynamics of a relationship by backing off and letting the man set the rules and the pace is a bunch of hokum.
How about respect, honesty and flexibility on both sides?
