That is why “anti-colonial” as somehow being a bad thing in RW mythology is ludicrous.

LOL, I remember hearing that for the first time from Newt Gingrich. He kept saying Obama inherited an anti-colonial mindset from his father.

My reaction was, “WTF? America was a group of colonies that broke away from England. I thought you guys would be proud to be anti-colonial.”

Someone here explained it to me later. Still doesn’t make any sense as an insult, though.
