Speaking for myself, it’s not so much “accusing” as sheer frustration. I can understand rich sociopaths like the Kochs supporting the GOP, because it’s pure short-sighted self-interest for them. But to see the very people directly harmed by GOP policy continue to enable the abuse is maddening and despair-inducing. I just hate the human capacity for self-delusion when it turns into such a destructive form of Stockholm syndrome.

Oh, I totally agree. I see it all the time.

To turn it around though, conservatives think that liberal policies have enslaved the working poor, minorities etc…and wonder why they keep voting for democrats.
