As I learned it in school, the six continents are: Europe, Asia, Africa, North America, South America, and Australia.

They have: United States, Africa, Middle East/N. Africa, Europe/Central Asia, Americas, and Asia.

And the United Nations have: African Group, Asian Group, Eastern European Group, Latin American and Caribbean Group, Western European and Others Group.

When the international order is messed up, no surprise that the order of some nongovernmental organization is in the same state, although in a different kind of mess.

(Is there a need to mention which country is not accepted to any of these regional groups?)
