The anti-Mosque crusaders aren’t limited to Ground Zero. I linked to an LA Times story regarding a Mosque being opposed by a noticeable group of people in Temecula Valley, California.

We The People - Citizens in Action, a Tea Party group, has this bizarre notion on Islam:

Then there is an Islamic center in Murfreesboro, Tennessee and the one in Staten Island.

My SIL reports that there are protests against one being built near her. She’s in Tennessee.
