Why would Romney suddenly want to refuse endorsements from extremist clowns in his own party? He just accepted Trump’s nod, with plenty of fanfare. Chances are he’ll want the support of one of the most influential bloggers—Erik McErick—on the right.

Trump is more visible, and would be a more dangerous enemy. Erik couldn’t do that much damage. The key to a “I’m Not With Stupid” moment is to pick a target to push off from who has some visibility but isn’t relatively powerful enough to really hurt you.
