Both sides are right here, IMHO. The protests were organized by bigots and quacks, and yet it seems that they grew above and beyond them. Which is not to say that they grew into anything nice or efficient at the moment (I, frankly, just don’t know), but it also seems that bigotry is not at the core of these protests.
