The spin from the left is that the IBM Selectric Composer typewriter may have been capable of producing the CBS News National Guard documents in 1972/1973.

Out of all the left’s possible strategies for torquing the issue, this is one I never thought they would use—because it is absurd on its very face. (Little inside type joke there.)
