The journalism enthusiasts at the Washington Post have a reasonably competent account of CBS News’s disastrous, politically motivated rush to get the forged Killian memos on the air despite warnings from their experts: In Rush to Air, CBS Quashed Memo Worries. By contrast, reasonably competent computer enthusiasts have created nearly exact replicas of the documents in 15 minutes employing default settings for Microsoft Word and the widely used Times New Roman font.
