GAZA CITY (AFP) - Three members of a British family became the latest foreigners to be kidnapped in Gaza after being abducted near the Egyptian border, diplomatic and Palestinian security sources said.

The spokesman and local security sources said that it was understood that the kidnappers belonged to a group known as the Black Panthers, an armed offshoot of the mainstream Fatah movement.

GAZA (Reuters) - Palestinian gunmen kidnapped a British human rights activist and her parents in the southern Gaza Strip on Wednesday, residents and police sources said.

The 25-year-old worker at the Al Mezan Center for Human Rights was showing her visiting parents around the town of Rafah when they were bundled into a car, residents said. Police said the vehicle fled northward and that a search was under way.
