C O'D seems to have had all sorts of money problems, according to the wikipedia page on her. She didn't pay her college tuition, then she didn't pay her mortgage, then she didn't pay her campaign debts.
She didn't get along with her employer and charged sex discrimination. They answered that she'd been running a business on the side, and that was their real reason for firing her. She dropped the suit.
She's better off making her campaign an argument over wanking than making it an argument over whether she knows up from down when it comes to national leadership and crafting legislation, or an argument over whether she has a record of making good on her promises.
