“Rebranding” was never meant to be a long-term process. The “autopsy” might as well have been labeled what it really is: marketing research. The GOP’s not interested in changing itself, just in convincing enough rubes that it has done so in order to win future elections. Even the strategy they’ve proposed, such as gathering information about voter blocs and then sending “representatives” door-to-door to tell these folks what they want to hear, is transparent pandering.

8 Skip Intro  Thu, Apr 4, 2013 3:21:36pm

I don’t believe the “rebranding” crap was was ever meant to be taken seriously by Republicans. It was an attempt to appease the dimwits in the media to buy some time while they go about removing voting rights, eliminating contraception, eliminating abortion, and making sexual relations between anyone other than a married man and woman illegal, and even then it’s only legal if they stick to the missionary position and nobody enjoys it.

What else can one think after seeing the GOP efforts after the so-called rebranding?

9 HappyWarrior  Thu, Apr 4, 2013 3:21:43pm

When Bobby Jindal is advocating you rebrand, you’re not going to change much. Outside of Portman and Kirk’s announcements on gay marriage, this is the same old GOP. The other thing is despite the claims of rebranding, the presidential candidates are going to be forced to move to the right to satisfy the Republican base in the primaries. So in that way, even if they want to rebrand which I don’t believe they really do, they’re going to be limited. Kirk can get away with being pro gay marriage because Illinois is a blue state. Portman is personally popular enough in Ohio and who knows, he may still get a big primary challenge because of that.

Come on you know Canada has a mass movement to legalize bestiality. Oh you mean it doesn’t? And it’s non-existent in the states that legalized SSM? The most insane are those who claim that SSM will lead to people wanting to marry animals. JPD confirms incident on 3rd floor of headquarters

JACKSON, MS (Mississippi News Now) -
Jackson police officer Colendula Green confirms an “incident” has occurred on the third floor of the Jackson Police Department headquarters in downtown Jackson. Crime scene tape is also surrounding the building.

There are multiple reports of a shooting in the building, but Green said she couldn’t comment on those reports.

Dozens of Jackson police officers surrounded the building just before 6 p.m. Officers have since been seen crying and consoling each other, according to our reporters on scene.

Dozens of officers and emergency officials with a stretcher were seen going into the building. An empty stretcher was later seen leaving the building.

Updated at that link - officer and suspect are dead.

Jackson Police Chief Rebecca Coleman confirms a police officer and a murder suspect died of gunshot wounds at the Jackson Police Department headquarters in downtown Jackson Thursday afternoon.

Coleman said officers arrested a murder suspect Thursday afternoon, and that suspect was being interviewed on the third floor. Coleman said later there were reports of shots being fired.

The suspect and a police officer were then found dead, Coleman said.

Dozens of Jackson police officers surrounded the building just before 6 p.m.

According to our reporters, people were seen fleeing from the building shortly before 6 p.m. Pascagoula Street is blocked off in front of the police department.

AFA’s Buster Wilson ‘Staying Neutral’ on Whether It’s OK to ‘Shoot Down United States Marshals’

On his show this Tuesday, Wilson lauded a caller who said that “our boys will never use force against our own country but they will use it to protect this country and Obama, look out,” and went on to once again promote the Oath Keepers, of which he is a member:

At another point of his show, Wilson received a call from someone who wondered if he should “shoot somebody who is going to come in my house” and take his weapons.

Wilson, rather than give the obvious answer that it is not ok to kill federal authorities, responded by telling the caller that he is “neutral” on whether it is appropriate for someone “to shoot down United States Marshals when they come to take our weapons.”

Obama hasn’t given them the attention? What, sending over B2s, F22s and theater missile defense systems and X-band advanced radar tracking systems (the only one we have?)? I’d say we’ve got a whole lot of attention on the Hermit Kingdom’s every move.

That doesn’t count the NRO, NSA, and CIA satellites tracking down every scrap of sigint they can glean. Problem is we really don’t have sufficient humint to know what’s going on inside the regime itself. Dennis Rodman had more contact with Jong Un than anyone from the West.

Hate that the RWNJ have made him out as enemy. They are haters, nothing more, gah.
